1. CEB Call for Volunteers

As you may know, the RAS Conference Editorial Board (CEB) is in charge of providing quality reviews for papers submitted to ICRA and acceptance/rejection suggestions to the ICRA Program Committee.

The work of CEB is crucial to the scientific quality and progress of our discipline, and RAS needs the help of its best members to provide the scope and depth of expertise needed to do a good job. A CEB Volunteer Welcome Webpage has been set up to assist members who want to volunteer as Reviewers and/or as Associate Editors in the RAS Conference Editorial Board, managing the review process for ICRA'11. For details, see http://www.ieee-ras.org/ceb

The CEB Volunteer Welcome Webpage allows one to enter information on the background and expertise, that will enable Editors to find good matches with the CEB needs. Typical background for a CEB Reviewer is to have a Ph.D. in Robotics or a close field, and to be an active member of the community with a strong expertise in some of its subfields. Associate Editors are normally professionals, either in Academia or in the Industry, with several years of experience in the research community after their Ph.D.

We hope to find numerous volunteers interested in getting involved with RAS CEB!
