IEEE International Symposium on Micro-NanoMechatronics and Human Science(MHS) has been held from 1990 as the symposium on Micro Machine and Human Science, and organized by Nagoya University and The City of Nagoya. From the Annual 1st symposium, a lot of researchers have attended in this symposium, and given a lot of contribution. From 1997, this symposium changes its name to symposium on Micromechatronics and Human Science. From 2003, this symposium changes its name to symposium on Micro-NanoMechatronics and Human Science.
