Description: An annual award to recognize the Best Conference Paper of the IEEE Conference on Automation Science and Engineering (IEEE CASE) presented in current year
Prize: $1,000 USD to be shared by all authors and certificates for individual authors
Funding: This award is sponsored by Spansion Inc. with a five-year commitment (2007-2011)
Eligibility: All papers presented in the IEEE Conference on Automation Science and Engineering (IEEE CASE) in current year
Basis for Judging: Factors to be considered: The significance of new applications, technical merit, originality, potential impact on the field, and clarity of presentation. The Committee consists of experts in the related fields and is led by the CASE Conference Award Committee Chair.
Presentation: The awards will be announced and presented at the annual IEEE Conference on Automation Science and Engineering. No award will be given if no qualified candidate is nominated.
