2012 IERA Award Applications due Feb 29

Applications for the IEEE/IFR Invention & Entrepreneurship Award (IERA
Award) will be accepted until 29 February 2012. The IEEE Robotics and
Automation Society (IEEE RAS) and the International Federation of
Robotics (IFR) jointly sponsor the Invention and Entrepreneurship Award.
The purpose of this award is to highlight and honor achievements in
robotics. Inventors with value creating ideas and entrepreneurs who
propel those ideas into world-class products are eligible to apply. The
IERA Award 2012 will be presented at the IEEE/IFR Joint Forum on
Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Robotics and Automation (IERA)
Wednesday May 23, 2012 at the New Munich Trade Fair Centre, Germany.
A prestigious plaque and a US$2000 prize will be awarded to the winner.
