RAS AdCom Elections --Call for Nominations

The Administrative Committee of the Robotics and Automation Society is the governing body of the Society. IT consists of 18 members elected by the membership, and the President, President Elect, Immediate Past President, Sectretary, Treasurer, and Student Adcom Member. The elected adcom members serve staggered 3 year terms and may be reelected once. Six new members of the AdCom will be elected by the general membership (graduate students and higher grade members) via an electronic ballot in an election to be held this October.

 The names of candidates proposed for the Robotics and Automation Society Administrative Committee, including self nominations, must be submitted to the RAS Administrator (administrator@ieee-ras.org) by June 15. Petitions to guarantee inclusion on the ballot are also due June 15, and must include valid signatures and IEEE member numbers of at least 131 graduate student and higher grade members,  2% of the voting membership as December 31, 2009.
