Lindqvist Elected President of IFR
The International Federation of Robotics (IFR elected unanimously Åke Lindqvst as new President and Junji Jay Tsuda, Yaskawa Electric Company as new Vice President at its Executive Board Meeting in Seoul, Korea on October 16 during the 2008 International Symposium on Robotics. Starting in January 2009, Springer will publish the International Journal of Social Robotics, an iaddition to its growing engineering publishing program.
