Distinguished Lecturer Program

The Distinguished Lecturer (DL) Program of our RAS is a flagship program of our Society which can greatly benefit Members. The AdCom has approved funds to defray up to $1500 US of the transportation expenses for DLs to visit local chapters. (See Requesting a Visit by an IEEE-RAS Distinguished Lecturer. ) The host Local Chapter is responsible for the local expenses of the DL Visit, including hotel, meals and incidentals.

Please refer to the list of DLs and their lecture topics. Local Chapters are encouraged to note the presence of a DL in their local geographical area and ask him/her to prolong his/her stay with a visit and talk in your chapter.
