New Chapter Initiative Grant Deadlines 2025

The RAS Chapter Initiative Grant deadlines have been changed for 2025. The new timelines will be as follows (Grants are awarded on a competitive basis twice annually): 31 January* – Grant Submission #1 Deadline 15 March – Notification #1 of Approval/Rejection 31 May – Grant Submission # 2 Deadline 15 August – Notification #2 of Approval/Rejection *Due to the short timeframe, the 2025 Grant Submission #1 Deadline has been extended until 14 February, 2025. We would like to remind applicants that grants are only available for future activities that take place after the date of notification of approval/rejection. Applications that have already taken place anytime before the submission deadline or notification will not be considered. Please submit proposals by completing the Chapter Initiative Grant Form for review by the IEEE RAS Membership Activities Board. Additional details are located here.

Call for Proposals: 2026 RAS TEP Programs

Each year, the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society (RAS) offers financial support for its Technical Education Program (TEP), also known as its “Seasonal Schools” program. The RAS TEP program is jointly run by the RAS Educational Activities Board (EAB) and the RAS Technical Activities Board (TAB). The program sponsors schools around the world, to be held in person, virtually, or in a hybrid format. The submission form can be found here.
