The Winner

ABB’s PixelPaint non-overspray technology helps automotive manufacturers to respond to the demands of car buyers, enabling them to create two-tone or customized paint jobs without the need for time-consuming masking and demasking. This significantly reduces time and cost, while also improving productivity and expanding the possibilities of customization. PixelPaint is 50% faster and more sustainable, using an inkjet head to eliminate overspray, allowing two-tone paint and individual designs to be applied in onepass, without masking and de-masking.

The finalists were:

  • InPicker by INFAIMON (Spain) – a universal pick and place system for industrial applications.
  • MIRAI software by Micropsi Industries (Germany) – an AI-driven control system that enables industrial robots to deal with variance in production.
  • MiR250 by Odense (Denmark)- a user-friendly mobile robot that optimizes material handling workflows across industries.
