Letter from IROS 2022 Organizing Committee: Content Now Free to All via IROS OnDemand

Dear RAS members,

We, the Organizing Committee (OC) of the 2022 IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS 2022), are pleased to announce that we will provide free access to the IROS 2022 conference content.

IROS is one of the most prestigious conferences in robotics. In October 2022, IROS was held in Kyoto, Japan, with the theme Embodied AI for a Symbiotic Society. After the conference, we continued providing conference content to attendees through a video-on-demand platform called IROS OnDemand.

The platform has provided IROS 2022 content, including

This platform allows you to easily access IROS content anywhere, anytime. 

As of today, we are delighted to announce the IROS 2022 OnDemand registration is free for everyone. This announcement has been made possible by the sponsoring societies for IROS:

• IEEE Robotics and Automation Society (RAS)
• The Industrial Electronics Society (IES)
• The Robotics Society of Japan (RSJ)
• The Society of Instrument and Control Engineers (SICE)
• The New Technology Foundation (NTF)

The IROS 2022 OC cares about society. We hope this platform reaches various communities outside of the robotics research boundary, including K-12 and post-secondary educational institutions, businesses, and governments. The platform allows everyone to stay up to date with state-of-the-art technologies and research networks from IROS 2022.

Please note that IROS 2022 OnDemand will remain open from 1 March to 30 June 2023.

Below is a set of important instructions for the platform; please read to take full advantage of IROS 2022 OnDemand.

The platform follows a keyword-based system, just like YouTube. Once you log in, you can find presentations by searching or using the keywords listed on the ribbon under the sponsor's video. Keywords are updated based on your activity in the system. Thus, you can find your desired presentations more easily when you log in again next time.
