RoboSoft 2020- Call for papers Deadline

IEEE has been monitoring the developing Coronavirus, COVID-2019.

The safety and well-being of all conference participants is our priority. After studying and evaluating the announcements, guidance, and news released by relevant national departments, we are sorry to announce that RoboSoft 2020, scheduled to be held April 6-9 in New Haven, CT, USA will be postponed to a later date (likely August or September).
We will provide more information on the new dates shortly. We thank you for your understanding.
Your paid registration will carry over to the new conference dates. Once the new dates are announced, we will be issuing registration refunds to those who registered for the original conference but can no longer attend due to the postponement.
Again, we apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

Call for Papers

RoboSoft is an IEEE Robotics and Automation Society conference where soft robotics researchers can present and discuss their work. The 2020 conference will be held from April 6-9, 2020 at the Omni Hotel at Yale in New Haven, CT, USA. The conference will include plenary sessions, contributed paper sessions, workshops and tutorials, and soft robot challenges.

 

Papers to RoboSoft can be submitted through two channels:

1. To RoboSoft, due  1 November 2019. Six pages in standard IEEE format are allowed for each paper, including figures and references, and a maximum of two additional pages can be purchased.

                 2. To the IEEE Robotics and Automation Letters (RA-L) journal, due October 15 2019. Select the option for presentation at RoboSoft. Six pages in standard IEEE format are allowed for each paper, including gures and references, and a maximum of two additional pages can be purchased.

Other Submissions:

1) Workshop and tutorial proposals, due 1 November 2019. Workshops and tutorials will be held on 6 April, the day before the conference’s technical sessions begin. Workshops and tutorials provide an informal forum for participants to discuss emerging and active research areas and tools.

2) Competition entries, due 15 Feb 2020. Competition entries should consist of a video and a technical document. Competition categories include (1) terrestrial race, (2) manipulation, and (3) wearables.

3) Late breaking results, due1 March 2020. Abstracts on late breaking results provide a channel to present recent results during a late breaking results poster session.
