TePRA 2015 - IEEE International Conference on Technologies for Practical Robot Applications

From 11 May, 2015 08:00 until 12 May, 2015 18:00
Categories: Conferences

The 7th Annual IEEE International Conference on Technologies for Practical Robot Applications (TePRA) will be held in the Greater Boston Area, Massachusetts, USA on 11-12 May 2015. With an emphasis on practical applications and industrial participation, TePRA provides researchers, innovators, entrepreneurs and robotics professionals with a balanced forum in robotics science, engineering and technology. The presentations selected through IEEE's rigorous peer-review process highlights foundational science and technology contributions towards realizing practical robots, new uses of algorithms, components, and whole systems design in practical robot applications.

The conference theme is the new scientific findings and technological developments in robotics and automation leading to practical robots. While papers are solicited in all related areas of robotics and automation, the conference tracks include:
Robot Applications
• Medical & Rehabilitation
• Military & Security
• Actuation & Manipulation
• Consumer & Industrial
• Field Reports
Robot Technologies
• Robust Robotics Technologies
• Resource Aware Algorithms
• Power & Communications
• Sensing
• Software Development Tools

The TePRA Conference Committee invites robotics researchers, developers, engineers, scientists and industry representatives to submit their contributions. Detailed instructions for submissions as well as past TePRA programs can be found on the conference website. Exhibit and demonstration opportunities are available.
