• IEEE RAS George Saridis Leadership Award in Robotics and Automation (est. 2008)
• IEEE-RAS Distinguished Service Award (est. 2001)
• RAS Early Career Award (est. 1999)
• IEEE Inaba Technical Award for Innovation Leading to Production (est. 2007)
• IEEE Robotics and Automation Award for Product Innovation (est. 2010)
• RAS Most Active Technical Committee Award (est. 2003)
• RAS Chapter of the Year Award (est. 2002)

In addition, nominations for the joint award with the International Federation of Robotics are due March 1 of the same year:

• IEEE/IFR Invention and Entrepreneurship Award (est. 2005)

Further to the above Society awards, the

• RAS Most Active Distinguished Lecturer Award (est. 2007)

was discontinued in 2011 when the Distinguished Lecturer program was reorganized (see the distinguished lecturer program)
