Call for ICRA 2026 Science Communication Ambassadors

The Robotics and Automation Society (RAS) Media Services Board is searching for Science Communication ambassadors for the upcoming 2026 IEEE International Conference on Robotics & Automation (ICRA).

Are you a storyteller attending an upcoming RAS conference? Consider sharing your thoughts while you’re there.

What do we expect? If selected, you will meet with us and some of our volunteers, plan your communication strategy, and then post your impressions during and after the conference. Your coverage could include videos, interviews, podcasts, blogs, social media, or art.

How do we support you? We can partially support your trip! Selected Ambassadors will be reimbursed up to $1,000 in travel expenses after the conference. Please note that this support cannot be used toward conference registration. The MSB will also support your communication efforts, help disseminate your content, and give visibility to your channels.

ICRA 2026 is taking place from 1 – 5 June, 2026 in Vienna, Austria.

You can apply by filling out this form. The deadline is 30 April, 2026.
