Robotics, Control and Automation Engineering has advanced in recent years, with new technologies and methods improving the efficiency, reliability, and safety of robotic systems. Advances in robot perception, planning, and control enable robots to operate with greater precision in complex and dynamic environments. Intelligent and autonomous systems have been developed with advanced control algorithms, optimization techniques, and machine learning methods, enabling them to perform complex tasks without human intervention.
The International Conference on Robotics, Control and Automation Engineering (RCAE) provides a platform for presenting and discussing the latest advancements in these fields. Topics include robot perception, planning, and control, intelligent and autonomous systems, control and optimization techniques, and machine learning methods for robotics. The conference aims to promote the development of new technologies and methods that can enhance the performance, efficiency, and safety of robotic systems in various applications.
RCAE 2023 will take place in Suzhou, China during November 3-5, 2023. The conference is sponsored by Suzhou University of Science and Technology (SUST) and held by the School of Electronic & Information Engineering at SUST. Researchers, engineers, practitioners, and students from industry, universities, and government agencies are invited to present their latest work and discuss research and applications for robotics, control, and automation engineering cooperation. Technical sessions, poster sessions, and technical visits will be organized.

The Robotics and Mechatronics Conference of South Africa (RobMech), in association with IEEE RAS and SAIEE, provides a platform to showcase and gauge the current state of advanced robotics and mechatronics research in South Africa. Research facilities in southern Africa and beyond are invited to present and share their work. The symposium is open to all industries, research institutions, and hobbyists. The symposium brings together researchers, academicians, application engineers, users, and policy makers of CAD/CAM, robotics and factory automation. The two-day main conference will be preceded by a day of workshops and tutorials. This is a great opportunity to meet other like-minded scientists in the interdisciplinary fields of pattern recognition, robotics and mechatronics.

In 1993, a number of well-known scientists, together with the organizers Prof. T.J. Tarn at Washington University, USA and Prof. T.C. Hsia, originated a congress on intelligent control and automation, aiming at providing a forum for Chinese scholars all over the world to present their achievements in the fields of control and automation. After three successful congress held in China from 1993 to 2000, the congress committee renamed the conference as the “World Congress on Intelligent Control and Automation (WCICA)” in the third congress held in Hefei, China, making WCICA more international. Since then, WCICA has been regularly held every two years, attracting the scientists all over the world to participate and present their achievements reflecting the advance on intelligent control and automation.
WCICA 2014 is one of the largest conferences technically co-sponsored by Northeastern University, IEEE Robotics and Automation Society, IEEE Control Systems Society, National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Chinese Association of Automation, the Chinese Association of Artificial Intelligence, among others.
