Student Activities at CASE 2019

RAS is pleased to arrange a Student Social Evening and a Student Scavenger Hunt for our Members attending the 15th IEEE International Conference on Automation Science and Engineering (CASE) in Vancouver, Canada.

 

IEEE RAS CASE Student Evening

RAS Student Activities Committee (SAC) would like to invite all students attending CASE 2019 to a Student Social Gathering on the 

evening of Friday, 23 August 2019(starting at 20:00) at Sage Bistro. It will be a free and easy evening for students to connect with each other. Snacks provided and beverages available for purchase!

 

2019 CASE- RAS Student Photo Scavenger Hunt

 

Are you a student planning to attend CASE 2019 in Vancouver, Canada? Join the IEEE RAS Student Activities Committee for a fun scavenger hunt! Teams of 2-3 students will be emailed a super top secret list of objectives on the morning of 22 August. Throughout the conference, teams will then take pictures demonstrating achievement of each objective – ranging from shaking hands with RAS leadership, visiting local sights near the conference venue, to doing funny poses. Awards will be presented to teams which found the most items and teams with the most creative photos!

What: A fun picture scavenger hunt 
When: 22 – 26 August 2019 
Where: CASE in Vancouver 
Why: Because everyone needs a little fun!
 
If you already know a few other students attending, you can form a Team and register as a group. If not, please register yourself, and we will team you up with other enthusiastic roboticists.
