This committee shall report to the RAS Member Activities Board, and is in charge of organizing and fostering international cooperation among scholars and students. An important means towards this goal are Section and Student Branch Chapters of the Society, which will report to this Standing Committee. A concern of the Standing Committee shall be to ensure that members and students of all regions are well represented and feel equally at home in the diverse Society activities (conferences, schools, ballots, etc.).
