On 1 June 2026, during ICRA 2026 in Vienna, the IEEE RAS Technical Committee on Human-Robot Interaction co-hosted the IEEE RAS Mixed TC Happy Hour together with the Technical Committee on Cognitive Robotics and the Technical Committee on Rehabilitation and Assistive Robotics.
Around 60 researchers joined the gathering. Organised by the co-chairs of the three committees, it offered an informal space for members of neighbouring communities to meet, exchange ideas, and find common ground across physical interaction, cognition, and assistive robotics.
To mark the occasion and strengthen the committee’s identity, the TC produced and distributed 25 official TC-branded embroidery keychains among participants.
