Kyujin Cho Elected as IEEE RAS President for 2028–2029 Term

We are pleased to announce that Kyujin Cho, Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Director of the Soft Robotics Research Center at Seoul National University, has been elected by the RAS Administrative Committee (AdCom) to serve as the RAS President for the 2028–2029 term. Kyujin will serve as President-Elect during Professor Nancy Amato’s 2026–2027 term as RAS President.

Kyujin has a long-standing history of leadership within the society, having served in numerous capacities, including as a member of the RAS AdCom and as a Co-Chair for major RAS-sponsored conferences. His pioneering contributions to bio-inspired robotics and soft actuators continue to influence the global robotics community.
