The Regional Industry Showcase provides a showcase booth and travel support to attend an IEEE-sponsored conference to select robotics companies from traditionally underrepresented countries or regions as determined by the IEEE eligible countries list.

In 2025, the Regional Industry Showcase provided support for 4 companies from around the globe to attend the 2025 IEEE/RSJ Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS), one of IEEE RAS flagship conferences that was held in Hangzhou China from October 18 to October 25, with the Showcase taking place from October 21 to 23.

The four recipients for IROS 2025 were:

• Yagya Prasad Devkota, GBS Team (Nepal)
• Nícolas Figueroa, NFM Robotics (Peru)
• Mario Arbulu, Robotics 4.0 (Colombia)
• Marcelo Ortiz, Artil Robotics (Ecuador)

We are pleased to announce that this initiative will be offered again for IROS 2026 in Pittsburgh from September 27 to October 1, with applications opening in June 2026. More details to be shared at a later date here and via RAS news channels!
