IEEE Transactions on Soft Robotics (T-SRO) publishes fundamental advances to the interdisciplinary field of soft robotics. Soft robots are defined as robotic systems with intrinsic or structural compliance, making them adapt to external forces and use their embodied intelligence. Main technical areas involved span from materials, chemistry, sensors and actuators for soft robots to modelling, design, fabrication, simulation and control techniques, to models of embodied intelligence, algorithms, and AI-driven soft robots. In addition to full-length research papers, T-SRO publishes tutorials, perspective and review papers that are of interest to the soft robotics community.
To submit your paper, go to the T-SRO submission website at ras.papercept.net
Submissions to IEEE T-SRO must adhere to the Rules for the Double-Anonymous Review Process
Authors of an IEEE T-SRO full-length research paper are offered to transfer their paper to be presented at an upcoming conference of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society (RAS). A paper is eligible to be transferred to a given conference provided that it is transferred within 270 days of acceptance and that it falls within the transfer window of the conference.
Authors of accepted papers will receive an email from PaperCept regarding the transfer of their paper to a list of conferences, from which they choose the one they wish to present their paper. Authors will not receive any further reminders to transfer their accepted papers. However, the invitation to present at a conference is in the author’s workspace in PaperCept after acceptance of the paper. Eligible papers may only be presented at one conference. Authors may not request any acceleration or delay of the review process based on the conference transfer time windows.
Upcoming conferences
Other conferences (ICRA, IROS and BioRob) will be added at a later time.
