Students

The Student Activities Committee of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society (“SAC”) was formed in 2006 as an initiative by the Robotics and Automation Society AdCom to represent the students’ voices. As part of the Member Activities Board, the SAC consists of a chair who serves a two year term and two co-chairs who serve one year terms. The goal of the SAC is to represent students in robotics worldwide.

IEEE EPICS - Empowering Students, Impacting Communities

IEEE Educational Activities is pleased to announce the launch of the new EPICS in IEEE website: http://epics.ieee.org/. An IEEE Foundation Signature Program, EPICS in IEEE organizes university and high-school students to work on engineering-related projects for local humanitarian organizations.

From powering villages with solar cells to developing mobile devices for better healthcare screening to connecting rural schools with technology, EPICS in IEEE enables IEEE volunteers and students to make a real difference in the lives of people in their communities around the world.
