The primary goal of VMP is to gather and engage all RAS Sectional Chapters as a quarterly meeting, providing a platform to stay updated on chapter activities, technological advancements, and industry trends. Through themed events hosted by different sections, VMP aims to showcase local innovations, promote professional development, and strengthen the global network of IEEE RAS.

• Global Connectivity: Connects members from diverse geographical regions, promoting international collaboration and exchange of ideas.
• Educational Content: Offers technical sessions, workshops, and webinars on cutting-edge topics in robotics and automation.
• Networking Opportunities: Facilitates interactions with RAS leaders, section chairs, and peers, fostering valuable connections within the community.
• Section Showcases: Highlights achievements and initiatives of hosting sections, emphasizing their impact on the field and local communities.

The VMP aims to:

• Gather and engage all RAS Sectional Chapters in one place.
• Keep all members updated on chapter activities and RAS news.
• Encourage sections and officers to participate in and organize activities within the RAS SAC Board.

• Format: One-day virtual event
• Participants: All sections, mainly Section Chairs and Executive Boards.
• Themes: Each event will have a different theme and brand story inspired by the hosting section, while maintaining the main VMP brand.

• Introduction to RAS and the hosting section
• Guest speakers or panel participants including RAS Chair, MAB Chair, SAC Chair, and RSR Co-Chair from the hosting region
• Technical sessions, workshops, or webinars on RAS technology
• Presentations of statistics from RAS chapters and student chapters
• Showcasing at least three group activities done by student chapters in the hosting section
• Panel discussions with chapter chairs about RAS chapter activities and their impact on student life

• The hosting section must organize and execute the event activities.
• The hosting section must provide a detailed plan for the VMP event, including all the activities also include the theme (brand color, logo, fonts, etc.), and submit this plan to RAS SAC for confirmations.
• All activities must be confirmed by RAS SAC before execution.

• Event Dates: First week of each quarter (January, April, July, October)
• First VMP Event: December
• Call for Hosts: August 15st – Sep. 30.
• Announcement of Results: November 1
