Established: 2004
Prize: $1,000 to be shared by all authors and certificates for individual authors
Funding: Funded by Googol Technology (HK) Ltd. 
Eligibility: All papers published in T-ASE during the previous calendar year
Basis for Judging: Factors to be considered: The significance of new applications, technical merit, originality, potential impact on the field, and clarity of presentation
Presentation: At the annual IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA) or the IEEE Conference on Automation Science and Engineering (CASE). No award will be given if no qualified candidate is nominated.
